ESSK 062: 2 Days Shimba Hills National Reserve

This short safari features Shimba Hills National Park, which ic only 48 km from the coast, and the only reserve in Kenya where the rare roan and sable antelope can be sighted. Accommodation is at Shimba Rainforest Lodge, where there is a 120m walkway extending well into the forest, which enables guests to view game at close quarters and gives bird-lovers the opportunity to sit quietly and enjoy the colorful spectacle of many forest birds.

Daily departures subject to minimum 2 persons booking

Day 1: Depart from your hotel after lunch and drive to Shimba National Park. Game drive after entry looking for the rare sable antelope and elephants. Dinner and overnight at the Shimba Lodge (the only tree top Hotel at the coast).

Day 2: Morning nature walk after breakfast. Thereafter game drive as you come out of the park and proceed to your hotel arriving in time for lunch.
